NEW MARINA MALL / COMING THIS FALL
Construction of the new mall in La Marina began early this spring and is scheduled for completion in November. Liverpool is going to be the anchor store with Wal Mart and Groupo Aurrea joining in at the early stages. The total site will include 800 acres. The construction quality is above that found in the beachfront condominium developments and the rapid rate of construction reminds me of US standards-this will be an "Icon for Marina Mazatlan". A new hospital is also scheduled to begin construction near the La Marina Development. The final decision on the new baseball stadium in La Marina should be released soon. La Marina is a residential / commercial development including homes, condos, golf course, sports stadium, schools and all kinds of shoppping to mention just some of the features-this is a 20 year project and will be the focal point of Mazatlan for all of us to enjoy!
