Olas Altas
Olas Altas is the historic waterfront that features many of the land mark structures from the early 1900"s. Hotel Belmar was built in the 1920"s replica orologi di lusso and was frequented by many famous characters. The Freeman Hotel offers the best views in town.There are new restaurants along the Malecon and some on the way. Olas Altas is on the edge of the city, start walking toward the market and the ambience will overwhelm you. If I could plan my first trip to Mazatlan, I would have my 1st breakfast on the Malecon and go from there!
